We are still planning on adding it along the top edge of the wainscoting detail. Most often times it is NOT recommended to sand in-between staining coats, however, some stains do allow for it. It really depends on the type you opt for. NOT the disposable ones, but the micro cloths that are washable (just don't use fabric softeners) . We've had light grey walls for over 20 years since we had this house built.
