As far as the starting and stopping, they were already finished ends so I just butted them up together and used the hot glue. If you are cutting yours, I wonder if some fray check would work?

IHeart Organizinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05084013302005288836noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8864666002840991252.post-39778178337229821362016-07-05T22:37:55.233-05:002016-07-05T22:37:55.233-05:00So, I am getting ready to do this project but I ha...So, I am getting ready to do this project but I have a question. Since you used several packages of rope, what did you do to hide the ending and beginning of the ropes? Also, did you measure the painted sections before painting. I have a 50 yard package of rope so I'm wondering how I'm going to paint sections.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08418492090897110921noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8864666002840991252.post-79070685432555462882016-05-25T14:15:41.965-05:002016-05-25T14:15:41.965-05:00Thank you for sharing. Total yardage and rope... I'm allowing 36 yds of size 5 cotton piping rope from JoAnn. The brand is Wrights. I ordered in bulk of 400 yds, in 100 yd spools for 19.99 per spool! Plus Rit dye at $5 a bottle and dollar store baskets... it's bringing cost in just shy of $13 per person. FYI the spools can only be ordered online, they will not sell in store. In store sold by the yard at $1.49Amanda Leahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04640300530902393704noreply@blogger.com
